We are looking for a Books and Literature Writer to create engaging content about the biggest books, authors, and literary trends. This is a paid freelance, fully remote role — work from home or anywhere you like. No prior experience is required; full training and editorial support are provided.
Responsibilities:
Monitor book news, bestseller lists, and social media conversations to spot timely story ideas. Write features, lists, rankings, recommendations, and opinion pieces about books and literary culture. Cover topics from bestselling novels and emerging authors to book-to-screen adaptations and publishing trends. Work with editors to develop ideas and meet deadlines. Follow editorial and formatting guidelines.
Skills/background needed:
A genuine passion for books and reading. Willingness to learn to write clean, accurate content on deadlines. Comfort using a content management system and basic search optimization. Full training is provided, so a beginner mindset is welcome.
