Do you enjoy asking good questions and turning real conversations into stories people want to read? In this fully remote role, you will interview business owners and professionals, research topics, and write clear feature stories and profiles. Full training is provided, and no professional writing experience is required.
What you’ll do:
– Interview people and listen for the meaningful angle
– Research industries and trends to support your stories
– Write features, profiles, and short articles with strong headlines and clean structure
– Turn complicated ideas into simple, engaging writing
– Revise based on editorial feedback
– Manage several assignments and meet deadlines
Skills/background needed:
– Comfortable talking to people and asking thoughtful questions
– Strong grammar and careful fact-checking
– Clear, accurate writing and a willingness to improve
– Organized and dependable with deadlines
– Open to feedback and coaching
– Basic use of Google Docs; interest in business and entrepreneurship is a plus
