About the role
We are looking for a beginner-friendly QA Engineer to help test software and support reliable releases across platforms. This is a fully remote role with full training provided, so no prior professional experience is required.
Responsibilities
• Help create and run automated test scripts for user interfaces and services.
• Write clear test cases for new features and release checks.
• Prepare and manage test data for functional, regression, automation, API, and data-driven testing.
• Test APIs and services for accuracy, reliability, and integration quality.
• Work with developers and product managers to understand requirements, spot risks, and resolve defects.
• Analyze test results, document issues clearly, and support timely fixes.
• Contribute to improving testing processes and automation coverage.
Skills/background needed
• Willingness to learn automation testing for interfaces and services.
• Basic understanding of API testing and data-driven systems (training provided).
• Ability to write clear test cases and manage test data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented, quality-first mindset.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to document testing outcomes, defects, and quality risks clearly.
• Reliable internet and around 5+ hours available per week.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, ongoing.
