Overview
We are looking for a beginner-friendly Supplier QA Engineer to help check that materials and packaged products meet requirements. This is a fully remote role where you will work from home and learn quality processes step by step with full training provided. No prior experience is necessary.
Responsibilities
Support supplier quality checks and help confirm suppliers understand engineering and quality needs. Help monitor supplier quality systems and flag issues. Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions for defects. Test products, materials, and processes for compliance and review supplier deliverables. Help qualify and audit casting and tooling suppliers and verify shop compliance. Support feasibility reviews and track simple performance measures and changes.
Skills/background needed
Willingness to learn quality and testing basics. Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Good problem-solving and communication. Interest in metals, casting, and mold processes is a plus but not required. Training is provided.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, with potential to move into a longer-term role.
