Roles: Junior Scientific Writer
We’re looking for a beginner-friendly Scientific Writer to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll help turn scientific data and ideas into clear, readable documents for different audiences. Full training is provided, so no prior professional writing experience is needed.
What you’ll do:
Create and maintain templates for grant proposals. Format, proofread, edit, and finalize scientific documents. Check that documents are readable, clear, and consistent. Review language for accuracy and suggest improvements. Work with senior authors and presenters to keep documents and presentations accurate and on time. Track progress and respond to publication queries.
Skills/background needed:
A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is helpful. You should be willing to learn new procedures and tools, work well in a team, use standard office software and word processing tools, and communicate clearly in writing and speech. A supportive, encouraging team environment with opportunities to grow.
Contract length: Full time
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
