We are looking for a beginner-friendly QA Test Engineer to help check that software works the way it should. This is a fully remote role, and no prior experience is needed – full training is provided.
You will design and carry out test plans, check how software performs, and confirm that features work correctly. You will write clear test notes, report any faults you find, and work with developers and product managers to keep quality high. Attention to detail and a willingness to follow steps carefully matter more than a long résumé.
What you will do:
– Run tests on software features and record the results
– Write short, clear bug reports and test notes
– Follow testing steps and check that fixes work
– Share findings with the team and help improve how testing is done
Skills/background needed:
– No experience necessary; training is provided
– Reliable internet and a computer
– Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
– Around 5 or more hours available each week
– English speaking preferred
Contract length: Flexible, with the potential to move into a longer-term role.
