Role: Software QA Engineer
We are looking for a beginner-friendly Software QA Engineer to support quality assurance and testing work for our software programmes. You will run test cases, document results, and help make sure applications and interfaces meet functional and compliance requirements. No prior professional experience is needed — full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute test plans, scripts, and procedures with guidance from senior QA staff.
Document test results and keep them traceable to functional requirements.
Identify, log, and retest software defects until they are resolved.
Support regression, performance, and security testing activities.
Help prepare compliance documentation and audit evidence.
Collaborate with developers, analysts, and database teams to validate fixes and improvements.
Skills/background needed:
A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is helpful but not required.
Willingness to learn software testing and quality assurance methods.
Basic familiarity with testing and defect tracking tools is a plus.
Comfortable following steps, documenting results, and working with a team.
Contract length: Ongoing, with the potential to move into a permanent role.
