We are looking for a beginner-level Software Quality Engineer to help check that software products work reliably. This is a fully remote role with full training provided, and no prior experience is required.
What you will do:
Review software requirements and design documents to spot possible issues. Create and run test plans, test cases, and test scripts to check functionality, performance, and reliability. Note and report software defects, and work with team members to resolve them. Use automated testing tools to make testing faster and more efficient. Share clear reports on software quality with the team and management. Take part in design and code reviews to confirm quality standards are met. Keep up with current testing practices and help team members learn testing processes.
Who this suits:
No degree or previous experience needed. Ability to follow steps and pay attention to detail. Reliable internet and a computer. Around 5 or more hours available per week. Willingness to learn testing tools and methods on the job.
Work format:
Work from home, fully remote, with flexible hours. Full training is provided and there are opportunities to grow into more senior testing work.
