Roles: We are looking for a beginner-level Software Test Engineer to help check and improve software used in hands-on experiments. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided, so no prior experience is necessary.
What you will do:
Support software used to run experiments and collect data remotely. Test features, follow test steps, and record results clearly. Note any faults or issues and pass them to the team. Keep simple records of what was tested and what was found. Work with other team members to improve testing steps over time.
Skills/background needed:
No degree or prior experience required. Comfortable using a computer and the internet. Able to follow instructions and write short, clear notes. Reliable internet access and a device to work from. Around 5 or more hours available per week. Willingness to learn is more important than past work history.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, with the potential to move into a longer-term role.
