Roles: Gather, write, and edit news copy to meet regular deadlines. Interview people in the news, choose sound bites, and post updates to social media. Work closely with editors and team members to keep morning content fresh and accurate.
Skills/background needed: No prior experience required. Full training is provided. A clear writing style, comfort working to deadlines, and an interest in news are helpful. Basic familiarity with Google Docs and social platforms like Facebook and Twitter is a plus.
