Overview
We are looking for a beginner-friendly Data QA Tester to help check that data moving between systems is accurate and reliable. This is a fully remote role with full training provided, so no prior experience is needed. You will work alongside a supportive team, follow clear testing steps, and learn how to validate data pipelines from the ground up.
Responsibilities
Follow test plans to check data accuracy and flag anything that looks wrong. Compare data from one system to another and note mismatches. Run simple queries to confirm results. Record test outcomes in shared documents and report issues to the team. Support repeat checks and help keep quality consistent across data loads.
Skills/background needed
No experience required; full training is provided. Basic computer skills and comfort using spreadsheets or simple data tools. A careful eye for detail and willingness to follow steps. Good communication and reliable internet access. Around 5+ hours per week available. Any basic exposure to data or testing is a plus but not required.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Flexible, with potential to move into a longer-term role.
