We are looking for a beginner-friendly QA Automation Engineer to join a collaborative technical team supporting content-based web applications. This is a fully remote, work-from-home role with full training provided, so no prior professional experience is required.
What you will do:
• Review product and technical user stories and turn them into clear, testable scenarios.
• Help prepare test strategy documentation.
• Build, maintain and run automated tests using Selenium.
• Join release planning, sprint planning and technical design reviews and share input.
• Work alongside engineers, business owners and teammates.
• Document defects and confirm that fixes work.
• Share status updates and raise issues when needed.
Skills/background needed:
• A willingness to learn testing methodologies and defect reporting.
• Comfort testing across web browsers and mobile platforms.
• Basic familiarity with test plans, test cases and test strategy is a plus.
• Interest in automated testing tools such as Selenium.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Reliable internet and a few flexible hours available each week.
